Small Group Studies
Small group studies are offered throughout the year at Conyers First. Both in-depth, long term and short term studies are offered. For details about the current studies being offered, contact Director of Lay Involvement and Adult Ministries, Gail Haney.
Support Group for Grief
On Wednesday nights at 7 p.m., a support group is offered for anyone experiencing grief due to any type of loss (e.g., death, divorce, loss of job).
Walk to Emmaus
The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual growth program sponsored by the United Methodist Church, Upper Room division. The program is a weekend commitment.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
The UMW is a community of women who focus on building a supportive fellowship and participating in global ministries. Small group circles are also offered and meet once a month.

The 54 or More Club
The 54 or More Club is a seniors group hosted by CFUMC and attended by individuals from various denominations in the community. The group usually meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 11:00 a.m. for fellowship, entertainment, and a covered dish luncheon. The group coordinates day and overnight trips.
Senior Exercise Group
The senior exercise group meets on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9 a.m. at the church.
The Supper Club
Small group dinners are held at members’ homes. This is a great opportunity to meet other members of the church.
Connect Groups
Each active member of Conyers First UMC is assigned to a Connect group and a Lay Pastor. Connect groups are approximately 10-15 families in size. The main purpose of the groups is to care for and nurture each other, especially in times of sickness, death, and family problems.
Ladies Night Out
Ladies Night Out is a ministry outreach to ladies in the community. Ladies Night Out includes a catered dinner and special guest speaker.
